Premium for Family - Two listeners at once?!

Hello you lovely people,

Please help. I've searched through the thread on Premium for Familiy, but struggling to find an answer to this.

I upgraded to Premium for Family a while ago, and set up a second 'member', my wife, so that she could listen to music and I could listen to better music!

I'm at work just now trying to read through a document, and listening to Spotify via the work wifi on my iPhone. My wife is currently at home and listening to something else via Spotify (via Sonos) on her phone.

Every time she puts it on I get the 'Someone else is using...' message and my music pauses. I was under the impression that we could both listen to streaming music at the same time with the Family account?

Anyone got any idea what's going on here?!

Hey @MartinJB,

 

Maybe that's happening because your account is logged into the Sonos. You could tell her to log your account out and log into the Sonos using her own account.

Sorted thanks Maxim. Bang on - although we both have our own Spotify, all the Sonos controls were logged into my account. Thanks!
