Premium payment failed (PayPal)

I received an email saying my PayPal Spotify payment has failed. I have checked my PayPal account and everything is in order. The email says that Spotify will retry in a few days. I am concerned that the payment still doesn't go through. There is a link on the accounts tab asking me to update my payment details. I am concerned that if I update my details, which are OK anyway, that the payment is taken twice? Shall I just leave it and hope the payment goes through or update my details? Many thanks for advice.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply.  In the end I cancelled my existing paypal payment and started a new one, this seems to have resolved the issue.

@Anodos hey there, sorry to hear you're having issues with your subscription and payment,

 

the quickest way to contact spotify directly is via here or @SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter.

 

if you let them know as much as you can about your problem, they can have a look on their end and sort this out ASAP ^-^

Many thanks for taking the time to reply.  In the end I cancelled my existing paypal payment and started a new one, this seems to have resolved the issue.
