Hi,

I decided to go premium and I'd like to add a profile pic but I can't find out how. I read somewhere that you need Facebook, but that doesn't make sense. Why should I need an account on some free social network to get features in an application that I actually pay for?

So, how do I add a profile pic in Spotify?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, there is no current way to add a profile picture to Spotify.

Facebook will just pull your profile from the fb website and use your fb pic as your Spotify avatar.

There is an idea for this here. Feel free to add your Kudos and comment to show your support!

I reckon that already 6 months have passed since this problem was issued!
And as a problem regarding the premium sphere, I think it would be pleasant and correct to fix it!

This isn't a "problem" as such, just a missing feature. 

Unfortunately, the situation hasn't changed since back then, Facebook is still required if you want your profile to show your real name and profile picture. Keep adding your kudos and comments to the ideas topic mentioned above if you would like to see it added.

The pic issue is so completely bogus! I don't want or have FB anymore . Not since I was like 13-14. I just upgraded to premium and I seriously don't understand the requirement for a F B acct to have a pic on spotify.
