Hi Maxim, I have the same "problem". My premium family account it paid for through automatic bank transfers from my Dutch ING Bank account. It's strange as Spotify works fine since June 2016 or so, for me and 4 family members - it just that I notice it shows I have "spotify free" as my subscription,

 

Today I tried to use a spotify gift card in my account, but it did not work. Perhaps it cannot accept the card because the system thinks I have a Spotify Free account?

 

In any case - it would be nicer if my account shows I have Spotify Family. Screenshot below shows the "subscription page' (in Dutch). On the left it says "Spotify Free" but on the right it says "administer your family account" ...screeenshot.jpg
