Re: how can I find which email address is associated withmy account on myphone?

Re: how can I find which email address is associated withmy account on myphone?

I have a similar problem: after lots of frustration with Apple Music, I have signed up for Spotify Premium on my Android phone and have been assigned a user ID (long string of characters). I would also like to use this account on my computer, but cannot login on my computer since I don't have a password. On the mobile app, Settings page, there is no way to see an associated email address in order for me to reset the password. Please see screenshots. Can anyone help?

Hey @Sigi3, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you reset your password here and enter your username when prompted? That should allow an email to be sent to the email address that’s registered on the account, where you will get a link to reset (or in your case, create) your password.

Let me know how this goes!

Thanks Billy-J! When I enter my user ID on the reset password page, I get confirmation "We sent you an email", but I don't receive an email in any of my email accounts. I set up the account on Spotify on Android and believe I did so without providing an email address. Do Spotify accounts without an associated email exist? If so, does this mean I won't be able to use my account on a Windows computer? Note that the Windows app also uses a web browser dialog to log in the user, which requires a password.

Hey @Sigi3,

Thanks for the reply! In this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.

Have a nice day!
