Hello, I have just entered a redeem code I have purchased via a physical gift card. I entered the code and chose 1 month Premium. It sent me to a page and said I had upgraded and had Premium for 1 month. However, I went to my Spotify libray and it appears as though I'm still on the free version. (It still shows the banner saying I've used up my 10 hours of free music.) I went to my account details and it now says I'm still using the free version.
Help would be very much appreciated.

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you with this, if you include the code if you still have it that will speed things up. Normally when this happens you have redeemed the code accidentally on a duplicate account.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Yes I logged in and out a few times, still says I'm using Spotify Free.
If I input the code again it comes up with "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area" which suggests to me it must have been accepted before because it's now an invalid code, right?

Hi Richard, I have a help with a gift, a week ago I purchased a gift in the Albert Heijn store in holland to expand membership as premium user. I went to reedem the code, I typed in and press ok, then I got a massage: The Premium code you entered is invalid. Make sure you correctly typed. I checked the code for typos but every time I got a message that my code is invalid, I also have a receipt from the cashier that the card is activated, what do I do it is still 10 euros, a bit sad when it does not work with regards
I have the same problem in France just buy for 30€ Card. Good aspect, when i show up the pin code I enter It and it doesn t work at all just say : "Ce code Premium est invalide. Veuillez vérifier que vous l'avez saisi correctement." Just invalid Code ...
I really hope I just don't loose 30€ for anything ... (I tried many time the code it doesn't work at all).

Hey! I have sent a message to the "contact spotify support" and really hope I will get some help.. I have the exact same problem where my code came as "Invalid" - I really love Spotify but hope the cost for my monthly premium ship wont go to waste..

Vad är det för fel på er när det gäller spotify. Har fortfarande inte fått svar på varför mina 4 kort är invalid. Skicka ett vettigt melj HUR JAG SKA GÖRA. Hello. I recently activated a redeem code (or at least tried to) and I got a message for crediting my account for 3 months of Spotify Premium. However, I keep getting ads on my player and my subscription status on the site keeps showing that I'm using Spotify Free. It seems the code didn't work although I got a success message. Thanks in advance.
@user-removed - Normally when this happens you have redeemed the code accidentally on the wrong account. If you normally log in using a Spotify username and password, try logging in with your Facebook email address and password instead and see if you can find your premium that way.
If not, or you have redeemed it on the wrong account and want it moved over, just drop customer services an email here and they can get it moved over for you.
