Reset password not working

I had one Premium account with a work email that doesn't exist anymore. I don't remember the password and can't recover it. How can I cancel that account so that I can subscribe to the premium with my personal email? Is there a possibility to merge accounts so that I don't lose all my playlists?

unfortunately there is no way to merge accounts. Please email Spotify support so they can cancel the account for you.
