Seperate a family account?

Hey,

 

I'm interested in buying the family premium package. Theres one question left which I cannot find an answer to. If I invite my brother that has an account already to the family package and he wants to make it his own account again at any time.. Is that possible? Like unlinking my brothers account from my family package?

Hey @user-removed,

 

Of course you can remove members from a Premium for Family plan. 🙂

 

  1. Go to your account page
  2. Click Premium for Family in the menu on the left.
  3. Select the member you want to remove and click REMOVE.

Of course you can remove members from a Premium for Family plan. 🙂

 

  1. Go to your account page
  2. Click Premium for Family in the menu on the left.
  3. Select the member you want to remove and click REMOVE.

And that removed account will still be able to login, its just a free account then? I thought it would be like this but I just wanted to make sure. Thank you! 🙂

Yep! The plan of the account will be set back to Free 🙂

With a mistake it is my daugther who is managing the family account. How can i change that so i can have controll. Its me who pays.

I’m afraid it’s not possible to switch the Premium for Family plan owner, without cancelling the plan.

 

She needs to cancel the current Premium for Family subscription at https://spotify.com/account/subscription/cancel/.

 

Once the accounts’ have reverted back to Free, the new ‘owner’ (you) can subscribe at: https://spotify.com/family/, starting a new plan. You'll then be able the invite their members, so that you can all get rocking with Premium for Family again.

And about having a family quarrel, and the administrator does not want to get me out of the plane, is there any way I can get out of the family plan?
