Someone on my Spotify account, help!

Solved!

Someone on my Spotify account, help!

There appears to be someone else on my Spotify account. Whenever I have been listening to music on my phone it says "You are controlling music on Samsung-SGH-I747". I have never logged into a Samsung device and they keep getting back on even though I've logged out of all devices, changed my Facebook and Spotify passwords. They also keep deleting my playlists and adding new ones whenever they're on my account. Could you please sort this out.

I think the best thing you can do is to get in touch with Spotify so they can check out what's happening, as the logout everywhere function didn't help for you.

You may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello,

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

Have you already tried to logout everywhere via the option in your account? Everyone (even yourself) should logout when you use that feature. This way, any 'intruder' should be logged out.

To logout everywhere, please follow the steps in this link:

http://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Accounts-and-Subscriptions/Someone-else-using-your-account-Post...

If you then still get the message about another device, could you then check if there's someone near you (family, neighbours etc) that has an Samsung SGH-I747?

I apologise about the long wait before this reply, but signing out of all devices did not work. I have also changed passwords to both Facebook and Spotify beforehand. I asked neighbours and family if they had a Samsung SGH-I747 and they did not.

The person who is signed into my Spotify also knows that he is irritating me as he seems to have fun changing the track in albums I listen to.

Thank you, Ryan.
