My Question or Issue

My account works on webplayer and other phones

Other accounts work on my phone.

But my main account won't work anymore.

 

I Factory reset my phone after trying deleting the app multiple times. Cache wipes and all.

 

It's like the account is blocked on my phone.

I noticed it first on Android Auto. It was working got in the car and it stopped.

 

Sure I can use new account. But 8+ years of info for music is lost.

Thanks for posting in the community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd recommend you reset the password of your account to see how it goes. For this, you need to have access to the email linked to your account. To keep your account as secure as possible, we recommend you:

  • Use a long password with letters, capitals, numbers, and special characters.
  • Use a different password for each online service you use.
  • Change your password frequently.
  • Never share your password with anyone.

Afterwards, we recommend checking for anything suspicious on your Account Overview page and removing all apps connected to your account. If you notice anything suspicious you can remove it with the REMOVE ACCESS button. You can easily reconnect the apps that you use whenever you want.
 

Lastly, make sure to go again to your account page, scroll down, and select SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE. This way you’ll sign out from every device in which your account is open.

If issues persists, most likely this is something that has to be looked at backstage. As this might require sharing private info, it’s best if you message us directly through here.
