Spotify Artists customer service is the WORST

Spotify Artists customer service is the WORST

Seriously, the worst customer srevice i have ever encountered.
They Never,ever,ever answer the requests you put through the contact form.
For example i´ve written atleast 3 messages now about an issue where suddenly there are two profiles for one artist that need to be merged. Should be simple enough right?
But no. Not even an answer.
I used to work tech support /customer service for many years and i know that A: People like getting a reply, even though it´s not an immediade solution,just getting a respnse goes a long way.  and B  Writing a response, and also actually fixing most common issues is more often than not very easy .

Hey @smplng,

 

Spotify is working to make it easier for you to report problems with your music. For now, you’ll need to reach out to your distributor or aggregator and they’ll work with the Spotify team to make sure your artist page gets fixed.

thanks for the reply, that´s not gonna work in this case, as my distributer has allready done their thing, bubut t Spotify handled it wrong so it´s totally up to them to fix it.

Also why would they have a fully functional contact form with multible drop down catagories for selectiong problems,when they just gonna ignore the whole thing and expect us to magicly assume we have to run everything through the distributer first?

I'd recommend reaching out to your distributor again so they can let Spotify know that something went wrong 🙂

Yeah i know i could, but i shouldnt have to, you know what i mean?
I should not have to waste my time And the time of my distributor on an issue that
Spotify themselves have set up a portal to handle.


When you click send on the online support form on Spotify,up pops  a message that says Thanks, we will be in touch shortly.

Now i dont like to be lied to very much, 
I would much rather that they just do what they say they do, or just remove that contact form alltogether if all the messages are gonna be ignored.

Hmm. How long have you been waiting on a reply from the Artist Services team?

this time around it´s 2 or 3 weeks since the first one, then i sent another one monday.

Ah yeah, that's normal. The Artist Services team isn't a very big team and they get a lot of messages so it can take a little bit longer to receive a reply (at least a few weeks). 🙂
