Spotify and Songkick

Are there details on the merging of these two? I was a huge fan of Songkick before the integration and very happy with the move.

I listen to a lot of music i never heard before on Spotify and found a band that I liked. So, I went to Songkick to track when I came to find out I was already tracking them. Does Spotify tell my Songkick account to Track them when I listen since they are both integrated through my Facebook profile?

I don't think it is linked unless you are maybe logged into the SongKick app inside Spotify maybe?
