Spotify asks me to change to Premium, but I want to stay with my free plan.

Spotify asks me to change to Premium, but I want to stay with my free plan.

I'm on the free plan, moved to a different country from where I signed from. I've been using it for 14 days. After that, the service asked me to upgrade to premium, but I didn't do it. Instead, I changed my country to my new country of residence. I talked to customer support for hours and tried to reset my account to the Free plan, but they could not help.

Can you help me regain access to my free account?

Thanks for letting me know.

 

Unfortunately, the Free plan is currently not available in South Korea. In order to use Spotify, you must have Premium Individual or Duo.

 

It is common that not all subscription types are available initially when Spotify launches in a new region. Rest assured, they're always looking into opportunities to expand offers and available subscriptions on a case-by-case basis for each region.

Can you please tell me the name of the country you've moved to? Is that country now set within your account?
