Is this genuine and what do Spotify want?

I have the same email. The addrress it came from looks legit, but it seems odd, does not name me and asks me to confirm an an email adress they have emailed already emailed me on and that I use as a login. The other response links through to a section that has many typical phising examples but does not show a scenario like this one. I think it also had a Spotify suspicious email link, i think i might send my email to that.

Hey @BJW01,

Yeah i'd recommend following these steps:

1. Forward the entire email to spoof@spotify.com. 
   Please don’t forward the email as an attachment. You can add a note or a question, but don’t alter the subject or content of the email. 
2. Delete the suspicious email from your inbox. 

The Spotify team will investigate and let you know if the email is legitimate.
