Spotify for Artists, Artist Links, and Verification

I am currently trying to gain access to SpotifyForArtists, but have heard nothing from Spotify for a week.

I have tried to contact them about the situation, however, my artist is not available in the drop-down selection when typing in their name - Beverly Shrills. I proceed to provide the artist link, but one does not feature when I follow the instructions provided by Spotify.

The ultimate aim is to acquire verification, which I beleive Spotify now provides upon access to SpotifyForArtists? If not, could somebody please provide the additional requirement (I understand they have got rid of the 250 followers rule?)

Any information on gaining access to SpotifyFor Artists, or, a reason why my artist does not have an artist link would be greatly appreciated.

Just to check, are you the artist's manager?

If so, you can request access to Spotify for Artists here. 

You can manage image updates, Artist's Pick, and playlists via Spotify For Artists. Once your request is granted, they'll also receive the verified checkmark and have access to a dashboard of listening data.

If they're not showing in the drop down menu, does using a different browser/incognito window help? We'd recommend trying things out once more and letting us know.

It’d be great if you could point the team towards some verification when requesting, such as your email address listed as management on their website or social media profiles.

If not, we’re afraid we can’t garantee you access to Spotify for Artists, as it’s currently not for anyone other than the artist themselves or their managers.

Thanks for the thorough response Melody;

I am artist's [Beverly Shrills] manager, and have applied on the link you have provided a week ago, providing the releavent social media links, indicating my involvement with the band.

Strangely, the artist does appear in the access to 'Spotfiy For Artists' drop-down, but not in the 'Contact Us' area (so I came straight to here).

Verification of my involvement is clearly visable on the soundcloud page, and also in the about section of the Facebook Page. It also features in the Twitter bio..

I'm having the same issue with my artist, Chloe Likes Olivia. As a member and manager, I have been trying to get access to the artist page for a month now. I've provided every social media, email, and websites I can but still haven't heard back. I also have contacted customer support three times with no response.

This is delaying the promotion of our releases so I would very much like this issue to be resolved quickly! 

(Also, Beverly Shrills, I saw that you got verified and checked out your single. Good stuff!)

Hey Liam, I am a normal user of Spotify but I'd like to create my own artist profile and put my tapes there. Unfortunately I can't do that because in the final step of the account creation I must have acces to a verified artist twitter account. I think we're having kinda the same problem. Any advice?

This issue was resolved a day after Melody's most recent reply.
As long as you have applied, and provided all the relevant information, I beleive it is simply a waiting game.
