Spotify immediately logging on whether i want it to or not

As soon as i open my computer spotify logs on and i have to wait until it has logged on completely before i can do anything else. I don't want to log on to spotify unless i choose to. How do i stop it immediately logging on when i turn on???? This started happening when i clicked on the upgrade that they were offering. I want it to stop!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

If you don't want Spotify to log you in automatically, just log out of Spotify and then log in again but untick the "Remember me" box. 

If you would rather Spotify didn't open on boot at all, try the steps Liam posted in this topic.
