Spotify says I'm in the wrong country, but my account says I'm in the correct country?

So I'm trying to log into the desktop app, and I'm getting the 408 Error. I went to check my account settings and it's currently says that it's registered in Canada. I'm currently still in canada trying to access from presumably canadian IP address. I'm not sure what to do. I've tried changing it the US and back to Canada (I'm currently a US citizen living in Canada). But it still won't allow me to log in. Has anyone encountered this before? How do I fix this?
