Student discount not working

I had an account which I had a student discount for premium on, then canceled that premium, and closed down that account, then opened a new one later, however I cannot get a student discount because it says it is still with the old account, however it is no longer in use, how can I get student discount on my new account??

All you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support and their Accounts team can take a look backstage. The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. They usually respond within 48 hours!
