I am in Switzerland and my country setting is fixed to this and won't let subscribe and declines my card.  My card is valid and is from the U.S., but your settings imply that "The card is registered to the same country as your Spotify account" .  How do I get around to this, b/c i will be overseas for a while and in different countries?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

The Spotify system will only let you change your country to whichever country your current IP address geo-locates to, in your case Switzerland. You might be able to fool the system by using a proxy or VPN to make it think you are in the US, and then it will allow you to change your country and use that card.

 

Otherwise, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and see if that can do anything for you.


If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
