Transferring from facebook spotify account to regular spotify account

I'm in the process of deleting my facebook and wanted to know if there is a way to keep my spotify account and make it so that I can log in with an email username/password, instead of using facebook creditentials to log in.

Keep in mind that it's not a simple thing; it requires a longer process of creating a new account, requesting the removal of the old one and the moving your playlists including waiting times and stuff.

How to get your username account? Step by Step

Unfortunately it is not possible to un-link your Spotify account from your Facebook created account as it will essentially 'break' your Spotify account meaning you'll be unable to us it.

In order to create a new account not linked to Facebook here's what you have to do:

You may have to get this account deleted first, so your email address is free to use when creating your new, username account.

1. Head over to www.spotify.com/signup and create your free, original account.
2. Send Spotify Customer Service your new account details (username info)
3. Ask for transfer of your music library [playlists, starred tracks] from your old, to your new account
   - Your subscription cannot be moved to your new account, however you can start your 30-day Premium trial, which will make up for the loss of any paid Premium
4. All done 😄
