Trying to upgrade to premium, payment page not loading

Trying to upgrade to premium, payment page not loading

Hi

I am trying to upgrade from a free trial to a premium account, I get to the page where it will ask me to enter my payment details but all I am getting is a blank screen.  I have tried it on Windows, my iphone, my ipad and I cannot go any further. Is there someone I can talk to to upgrade?

Thank you for help, but its not working. This is screenshots with visa and paypal payment option.

There's not much point in a screen shot. All that is shown for the visa screen is the two icon logos for the secure system and the pay by mobile is a rainy day image with a big "Oh No something's gone horribly wrong"

Thanks, I'm passing these over to the Spotify support guys now.

I try that on tablet, smartphone and 3 computers ... same result with IE or firefox.

Spot on Peter.

Can't add much to this, other then mentioning that I have the same issue.

 

When selecting Visa/Mastercard I get the empty page as refered to by Ben. - see screenshot attached

When selecting Paypal I get a page telling me something went horibly wrong.

 

I am doing this from the Dutch version of the site as I am in The Netherlands. The title of the emty page states 'Enter your payment details' (in Dutch).

We're looking in to things for you all at the moment.

 

If you're still having diffficulties could you try the following as troubleshooting:

 

* Disable firewall, hardware acceleration

* Disable anti-virus

* Try a different browser

* Try browser without extensions

I try this :

 

- Samsung Galaxy S4

- Samsung Galaxy Tab S

- Computer with windows 7

- Another with windows 8.1

- Another with windows vista

 

Internet explorer and firefox.

 

Always finish with blank page or error page.

 

I use the contact form yesterday and wait for reply.

I just create a new account and its ok ! I upgrade it to premium and register a paypal account. So why i cant with this account ? I will close it...

Maybe their is a glitch in the system which is preventing THIS account from going to premium. But if you have got premium on your other account then i hope that your problem has been solved! 🙂

I used different browser and different computers to upgrade to a premium account. In every case I got a blank page. When are you going to solve this?

Hi, Hayreon here with my new and premium account.

 

I change email adress. Hayreon is registered with @gmail.com adress and now iam with @free.fr

 

I think it is the solution... what else ? (my username Hayreon ?)

 

I hope the staff can say more about this issue.

Definitely looks like it is account based for some reason. If you are still having issues and don't want to create a new account, get in touch using the link Jason posted above and a member of the team will be able to lend a hand.

i just worked this out yesterday!

 

try use Google Chrome or Firefox browser

and search the following URL(in English): www.spotify.com/uk/account/subscription

then type your credit card details.

 

hope this could help you 🙂

Unfortunately, still does not work for me. Might it have something to do with the 0 euro (or dollar) amount that will initially be charged in order to get the 30 day free Premium subscription?

or write a letter to URL: support@spotify.com

 

i'm sure they would help you to fix it ASAP 🙂

 

@MJ-Maverick - Spotify do put through a 0.00 charge to your card to verify it exists, and some banks do block that as suspicious so if you think that might be the case I would ask your bank.

Just a quick heads up, use this form instead of emailing support@spotify.com directly:
https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

It goes to the same place, but the contact form also makes sure the adviser can see your account details from the email.

For me, the solution was to fill in my ZIP/Postal code in my profile on www.spotify.com. After that, I could upgrade to premium without any problems.
