Unable to access Spotify account for unknown reasons

I was suddenly logged out of my Spotify account that i have used for many years. when i tried to log back in Spotify did not recognise my account name or email. yet when i looked to see if it existed on another account made in that moment my main account still existed. what can i do to get it back? Any answers will be appreciated. The username of the account: derentrigg
