Unsubscribe From Spotify E-mails...

I just want to stop e-mails from Spotify.  When you go to the page to change the e-mail preferences, for some asinine reason it highlights your e-mail address and shows a message saying it's already in use and will not process the request.

These messages contain information on my Facebook account, but I am not using Spotify with facebook as far as I know.  It sends me something saying

Your friend Jason Watkins just joined Spotify and is now sharing top tracks, playlists and music with you. View profile

I  just want to stop the Spotify Spam.  Anyone know a way around this e-mail issue on the unsubscribe page?  I would appreciate the help.

can someone please help me, I have the same problem.  so tired of the endless emails.  I don't care who is adding what track.  I may have an account from an old email address too.

Hi there - Now you can deactive all emails with just one click.  Richard has posted an update regarding this issue right here:

Please Mr Spotify stop your e-mails to me.

Since 1-2 weeks I suddenly started receiving e-mails to my private mail account whenever someone I know on FB has updated a playlist. I know hundreds and hundreds... Soooooooooo, IT IS VERY ANOYING. Especially since it also started pushing this info to my mobile phone, that plings every time.

There is no setting in Spotify that will take this away. Mr Spotify, you will have to do this on your end.

See the post above yours. There should be a single link to click at the bottom of the emails to stop any unwanted messages.

For a while now I've been recieving emails when friends of mine update playlists or listen to their playlists and I'm sick to death of it, how the HELL can I stop these emails from coming? I've unchecked any and all tic-boxes regarding socail and sharing and whatnot and still the damned emails keep coming!!!

Hi Dark_Jester - I've just moved your post to this more relevant thread. 

So what's happened is you've actually got two accounts. One is 'dark_jester' while the other was made via your Facebook. However both are set to receive emails. 

You can deactivate that FB account by by following the steps outlined here: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts-Subscriptions-and-Music/Please-read-Missing-playlists-Premi...

Then sign into your Profile Page using your 'dark_jester' username. Select 'never' for all emails and you should be set.
