Upgrade to Premium not working

I upgraded to Premium (30 day free trial advertised). On the desktop I still get ads and the annoying popups telling me to upgrade and on my phone it says feature is only available for Spotify Premium. If I select one of the ads again to upgrade it says I am ineligable to upgrade but if I access my account page in a browser it says that I have an active Premium subscription.

What is going on?

Same is happening for me - it has also charged me twice so really not sure what is going on!  Not impressed.

Hey there!

There is some fault with servers, so updating to paid account is slow. Apologize for that.

However all of you should receive Premium or Unlimited update soon.

You can also try clearing your cache in Spotify or Log out and then Log in back trick in Spotify from File.
