Username

I wanted to have my username be a tag i commonly use, but on my original account, it updated to be the first part of my email address.

I read on the help that you cant change usernames (which is stupid, btw) and instead, to create a new account and you can "pick what we call you" which didn't help either... So now i'm stuck with a randomly generated numbers and letters username and I've got a new account and all of my old playlists and EVERYTHING is on my old account and I don't have access to it through this new one.

This is ridiculous.. can I get some better help than those help articles gave?

If you signed up for a new account recently, you should have been prompted to enter a display name. This name differs from your username.

About transferring your tunes over to your new account, just reach out to our team on Twitter with your account info.

They'll be able to help transfer your tunes and close the account you don't want.

Yes I was prompted for a name, but on neither account was this name used. 

The username area is still the random generated.
