Waiting for verification, play count

Hi guys,

I applied to get verified as an artist a few weeks ago, I'm still waiting for it. 
How long does it commonly take these days?
The other thing is that I already have two songs uploaded by record labels that I'm signed to, and these songs are just linked to a random artist profile. I managed to get one of the songs placed into a quite popular playlist (around 20.000 followers) and the play count on the song still displays <1000 plays which I think it's impossible. The playlist owner also mentioned that songs that are placed on the list usually easily reach 15.000 plays only coming from that playlist. Why hasn't the play count been updated?
I guess the song was placed on the playlist almost 2 weeks ago.

If you've applied for verification/Spotify for Artists access, you should hear back soon don't worry.
If you've still not heard in a couple of weeks, you might want to give them a shout via the contact form to check you added enough info for them to check the request.
