Yesterday I bought a code in a store and when I tried to upgrade this was the message I got... I´ve tried atleast 5 times...

I got a gift card from my sister. First I got in but when I tried to select 3 months premium I got the message:

 

"we are currently not able to redeem this code"

 

now I dont even get that far. "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area" message show up when i try to redeem the code now.

 

What should I do?

HI I ALSO HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REDEEM THIS CODE ALL DAY TO THE POINT I COULD SMASH UP MY LAPTOP I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING STILL NO JOY .... REALLY SICK AND TIRED OF THIS

I too have problems with redeeming a code. What to do?

I come so far to choose the three options but I always get the annoying msg:

 

Your 300,00 kr Spotify gift card

Please select which Spotify product you would like to redeem below.

We are currently not able to redeem this code

 

This is pretty frustrating: could someone (from Spotify)  please tell me when this problem wull be solved?

Just an updating:

 

sometimes it's possible to come thru and the code is accepted but then when you need to choose among the 3 types (Premium, Unlimited, Download) nothing works and you get the error:

"We are currently not able to redeem this code"

 

Now after 5 minutes the problem arise when you try to insert the redeem code at the beginning.

 

Tried different browsers and it's pretty much obvious that the problem is not from the user side since it didn't worked either.

 

I also noticed that these problems started last Wednesday: now it's Sunday night and they (Spotify team) haven't solved yet.

 

It's sad to say that the only this we can do is hope they solve this problem: so far all replies I read are useless.

 

 

can you please inform us if u can redeem the code your side  ..  as i have paid and want my service  thanks

unfortunately it seems that now the redeem server (or what is used to read the codes) is overloaded (?).

 

I'm receiving the following error:

 

 

  The connection was reset           
  The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.       

  The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
  moments.
 

 

I have send an e-mail to staff to let them know....

as suggested from the spotify stuff I succeeded by using this URL:

 

https://www.spotify.com/uk/login/?forward_url=%2Fuk%2Fredeem%2F&signup_forward_url=%2Fuk%2Fredeem%2F

 

It didn't worked at the beginning, but it worked now.

It does appear to be working 🙂 just keep trying if your getting errors.

My code is not working and I am getting the same error message as everyone else that it is unable to redeem the code.  It recognized that it is a 10 dollar card but I can't get any further than that.

Having the same problem... Can sombody help me please?

It's not working, i bough the Card in a store, but Spotify refuses to redeem the code, and i must have redeem the code in 24h!!! HELP

It says the the code is invalid but it's not!

I have reported this to the staff, hopefully it can be fixed as soon as possible!

Im comming to the the page where i pick. But when i pick, this happens...

SvenskSkiller - Are you trying to add Unlimited or Premium to your account?

If it's Premium, you may have to wait until your current code has run out. You only need to wait 5 days, so not too long.
