What's going wrong with downloads?

Solved!

What's going wrong with downloads?

I can't purchase any music from the Spotify app on Windows because it says "We're currently not supporting new download purchases on Spotify." There's a link "Find out more" but it doesn't work, just goes to a page that doesn't exist.

How do I purchase downloads?

You can't, I'm afraid. We recently updated Spotify to further simplify the service and pave the way for new features announced at the end of last year. In-app purchases aren't part of this update but we're not ruling out their return. Credits/gift cards already purchased are still redeemable.

Your Spotify app will be updated soon, which will show the changes. I've passed that link onto the relevant guy, who should get it sorted shortly. We've just launched that new help section, you see, so there might be the odd error.

You should fix the link

http://support.spotify.com/uk/learn-more/learn-more/faq/#/article/Changes-to-the-Download-store

to explain this. Where do I find out what the new features are that you say are coming?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

I think some clarification is needed here.

The premium subscription plan and the downloads store which has been removed are completely seperate. The downloads store which was available in several countries in the past, allowed you to purchase download credits in addition to your subscription plan, in order to download tracks as mp3's in the same way you would from amazon mp3 or 7digital.

Your premium subscription continues to allow you to download playlists for offline usage inside the Spotify client.

nicolasbrad - Hammeh is right, they're two different services. To make your tunes 'offline', just follow the instructions here.

Who's your Spotify Star?

hier is niks opgelost,

men kan nog steeds niet downloaden.

Ik overweeg om te stoppen, dit is geen 10 euro per maand waard zo;

graag snel een oplossing......
