Won't let me log in due to using abroad when I'm not

It pops up a message saying "you can only use Spotify abroad for 14 days". I signed up under the country USA, I am still in the USA. I tried resetting my country to USA again, wouldn't let me log in. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Still won't let me log in. I tried resetting my phone. Still won't let me log in. I have never traveled outside of the USA so I have no idea why it won't let me log in to my account. Please help

Hey @user-removed,

Most of those problems come from a difference between the country shown by the IP address, and the one in your profile.

First, check your IP address here.

After that, compare it to the country shown in your profile.

If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

Finally, your payment method (if you used one for Premium) must match your country too, so you may need to delete it to update countries.

Change your country setting so it matches what your IP address shows.

Hope it helps. 🙂

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

Spotify opened up my email, so I created a new account and they transferred
everything over. The problem I'm still having is that in the last email.
They said "your account shows you've been using abroad for several hours
you might want to change that soon." Well every time I try changing the
country, it only says USA as an option. And I'm in the USA, all the time.
24/7 haha. And I went to the IP address thing, and I think I did it right?
But the only option for me to choose on my account is USA. Nothing else. Is
this a problem? Is it gonna lock me out again? When I'm not using abroad?
Thanks so much!
