Spotify isn't available in Canada I'm afraid. Long discussion here, cursing the CRTC.

You can get around this by accepting canadian credit cards like netflix and Vevo do

Unfortunately not, Spotify use your payment details to verify the country you live in (as they aren't allowed to make it available were they don't have license to do so).
