I have a shared family account and my user has hacked me.I can not change the password because someone else has changed it by adding their email.I need to solve it, otherwise I will cancel the service.

Hello @filosofa8

 

In this case you should immediately contact Spotify directly. You have several options:

    • on Twitter by sending DM to @SpotifyCares

They will check your account.

That's not nice! Issues of hacked accounts are keep increasing these days- and now they're changing account informations?

 

First, can you change your account email back to yours? Go to your account page and select 'Edit Profile.' There you can change the email back to yours;

 

Also, please get in contact with Spotify via this contact form- as quickly as you can. The support team will look through your issue and send you an email soon. It would be safer to mention your email address when filling up the contact form- so you can recieve emails from them in case the hacker makes changes to your account again while you're trying to contact Spotify. 

 

Also, please do not log out - it'd get harder to get help you out if you're not logged in as your account.
