can I use Spotify at work?

hello,

Ive read licence but it is not 100% clear that I can use Spotify at work.

My computer is used for commercial use (IT service) but Spotify will not (I mean streaming of music etc)

so, can I listen to it while Im at work or not?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

As long as you are only using Spotify for personal usage, eg. it is not being played publically, then you should be sweet to go 😄

Just be aware (as a word of caution) that Spotify desktop application is a p2p application, so double check you are allowed to put p2p traffic onto your network in your companies IT rules.

Unfortunately in Poland (where I live) any software installed on company's hardware has to have commercial license - there is no personal use on company's hardware - any use is commercial (because hardware is commercial)

So I can't install Spotify at work

You can use spotify without installing by going to play.spotify.com. I am a C# .Net developer who basically converts coffee and music into working code. I too am not allowed to install spotify at work, so the web player gets me through the day. It doesn't work as good as the app(for example bluetooth funcitons such as skip or pause do not work), but it works good enough for the workplace.

Yes you can use it like an app on your working computer. I had the same problem recently. And i have found a solution:
