can't remember username login..and have lost playlists

Hi all

I made an account years ago, I had some good playlists. I've finally installed Spotify again just now and synced it up with Facebook. A common problem it seems: I've lost my playlists. I read that if you sign in with your old details then you will get them back and still keep your Facebook sync. However when I checked out my details online it says my user name is a series of numbers, e.g 14591038. It's like my old account has just been erased completely?! Yet the email address has never changed.

Basically: I want my playlists back, but I can't remember my username. 

Any way around this? Many thanks

Just be sure to reply to any automated emails you get, which will push your case to an advisor.

I have a similar problem, and after contacting Spotify, they adviced me to try with Spotify Community.

I am trying to access my Spotify account but I cannot remember my password.  My username is: esthercollado


The problem is I cannot simply change my password because I no longer have access to my old email account, which I used for creating my Spotify account ([Snip-Email(Privacy)-Peter]), so if I try to reset my Spotify password, I cannot check the email Spotify sends for such effect.

Is there any way I can have access to my account?  

I created a new account to try and find me somehow, but I did not succeed.
What do I do?

Spotify have a dedicated accounts team who will be able to lend a hand to get you back to your account. If you could get in touch with them using a working email address here, they can authorize a manual password reset after verifying a few details:
