cannot change my e-mail after linking account with facebook

I had an account in spotify using facebook. but now i sign up on spotify using an username and linked this account with the one from facebook but i am having a problem : i cannot use the e-mail from my facebook account in this new account that i have done, and both of them are linked. it says that the e-mail is already in use, but the thing is that the accounts are linked, it should be possible

Your old Facebook created account is probably still in the login system just inactive which is why it detects your email address is already taken. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they should be able to free up the email address for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
