cannot change password!

hi i really need to change my password to spotify, but i am not allowed to do that for some reason. when i created the spotify account, it was linked with facebook, so i cannot change password on spotify's homepage, instead i am supposed to change my facebook password as stated in your help section. but this doesn't work! even after changing facebook password, i still have the same old password on spotify!

and i can not even just make a password reset because of the link to facebook :s

please help me change my password.

Since you log in with your facebook credentials, that's the only password you can use. If you were to log into that all-digit username, there's actually nothing there, it's just an empty shell with no playlists, subscriptions or anything else. If later you decided you didn't want a facebook linked account, you would actually have to create a new account with a spotify username.

sorry forgot to mention that i do not use my facebook credentials to login, i have always used my spotify username which is 1137327706

You should be logging in with facebook as that is how you created your account. Get in touch here and the support guys can help you set up a new username account which isn't linked to facebook.

okay thank you. the reason i am using my spotify username, is that i had trouble loggin in with facebook credentials after i created the account, so i tried with spotify username and i worked, so i've just been using that since then.

ICANNOT RESET MY PASSWORD FOR THE LINK WONT WORK IN RESET PASSWORD IT WAS FINE 3 DAYS AGO BUT SPOTIFY PAUSED MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY SAY IT WAS BEING USED ELSEWHERE NOW I CANT GET IN I TRIED EVERY THING AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME   THEY JUST WONT LET ME IN  AND TRYING FACEBOOK DOES NOT WORK WILL SOMEONE HELP ME                 SPOTIFY WONT
