is it possible change a subscription?

Hi, I bought a $10 spotify gift card. By accident I chose the option for 2 months of spotify unlimited. I intended to use my cars for one month of spotify premium. I tried to cancel my spotify subscription though I had absolutely no luck. I checked the spotify help section and it talks about an option to cancel a subscription through your account settings. I do not have that option for my account. So, is it possible to change your spotify subscription once you already paid? Like I said I tried to cancel to start over though had no luck.

There should be a button there that takes you to a place to manage your subscriptions. Hope that helps!

Hi I'm having the same issue when I asked my wife to top up my account for me. I got to the upgrade section and see the option to trade my Unlimited to half that duration of Premium, I accept the terms and conditions but then I get an error message telling me I need to add payment option details even though I have credit available???

If you want to upgrade from Spotify Unlimited to Premium, you should be able to do so following the steps here:

If you have any issues, get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand to get you swapped over. .

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
