no unlimited ecard option?

As far as I can see the only ecards available are for the most expensive version of spotify and there is no option to purchase the unlimited version. Is this an oversight on my part? Am I missing something?

If spotify really doesn't offer unlimited ecards does anyone know why and when they will introduce them. I'd like to gift someone some spotify time, but I'd rather gift them 3 months at £5/month than £10 as they have no need of the mobile app.

Nemof - We can't offer an Unlimited E-Card just yet. However, we can offer gift cards in some countries. You can use these to purchase Unlimited, Premium or downloads. You can get more info here: http://www.spotify.com/gift-card/

So, the next time you're in Homebase, keep an eye out for a lovely little green card.

that seems pretty bizarre and arbitary, but thanks for the answer. Maybe you could poke your dozing green overlords and point out that it would be a great (and blindingly obvious) idea to have an unlimited e-card.

I will keep an eye out for one of these gift-cards meanwhile.

Seems as though nothing has been done about this. I bought an e-card assuming the person could use it for any subscription Unlimited/Premium but turns out they can only use it for Premium which is pretty pointless for them afaik.

Any chance of you fixing this? 😕

With unlimited not available in new markets, its unlikely I think, although high street gift cards can be redeemed for unlimited (if printed on the card). It does say on the eCard page they are for Spotify Premium.
