spotify keeps reactivating facebook, already tried fixes

Hi, 

I have a premium account but anytime I listen on a new device or log in, even though I log in with my email only and have disconnected spotify from my old facebook account already it STILL reactivates my old facebook account! It is not connected in any way anymore - how is it still doing this? 

I saw an answer to a smiliar problem someone else was having which linked to device password or something like that but when I clicked on it I was brought to the main spotify page so that page is not valid any more.

Hey @Ablemable 

If you created your Spotify account with Facebook, you need to create a new account with a different email address from the one you used for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username, so you won't have to rely on a Facebook account.

Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges (if you have them), library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.

If you like you can link this new account to your Facebook after the switch.
