started a 99p 3 month trial and i am being charged £12.99 per month!!

started a 99p 3 month trial and i am being charged £12.99 per month!!

My son asked me if he could take out a 3 month 99p trial for premium. It is funded through my card. So i looked at the purchase screen and i verified the payment. I am now being charged £12.99 per month - BEFORE the trail has even ended. Contacted spotify using the email address i was given and no reply. Another £12.99 out of my account. Subscription now cancelled ,but i have been overcharged £25 and no response from spotify. Really really annoyed by this.

Help please?

Hey @BMC1,

Paying Spotify through the website costs £9.99. If you're getting charged £12.99 means your getting your subscription through iTunes.

Login to your subscription page and check your status.

To stop payments, check in your iTunes subscriptions if Auto Renewal is on for Spotify, and turn it off.

Here are Apple's instructions on how to do it:

Hope it helps. 🙂

Thanks. I did this yesterday.

My biggest problem here is that i shouldnt be getting charged anything other than 99p.

Why don't Spotify reply to emails?

poor show.

Thanks again

Since you already contacted them, and received no reply, check your email address in your profile page to see if it's the correct one.

Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

Or send your message directly to support@spotify.com and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, you can tweet @SpotifyCares.
