username & account details linked to another account

Spotify crashed on my Pc, when i lgged back in my username, email address, all of my profile information has changed to another account belonging to someone else. I have also lost all of my playlist. i need this sorted. i have emailed spotify but got an automated email telling me to come here for the answers....poor customer service so far. I have only just started using spotify and was going to upgrade to paid account but i dont think my information will be safe going by what im seeing now onmy account.

I wrote a recent post about this, but security is not something Spotify seems to care about. My account has been hacked and taken over twice...personal information shown to a hacker...

I'd stray far away!

what about my email address changing automaically to someone else in my works email and my username changing along with all of my information in my profile.

Was just making sure you were accessing the correct account (in which case you can see old playlists).

Peter, i can only access one account with my own password and email address, but it isnt my details in my profile page of spotify, the email address i log in with is different to what is in my profile page.

All I can suggest to do is change your password, correct your details then force a log out from your online overview which will stop anyone else from using your account:

spotify is not letting me change my email address back to the original address telling me my passord is wrong when i an in the profile page. how do i cancel spotify completely. users details are not safe this is a serious problem
