0.7.9.1170, bug? Several artists in "Your music" with 0 tracks? (I have no albums or songs added)

Today the new Android-app was released to my device and I updated. For some strange reason I now on my Android device have 20 artists in my artists-list, all with 0 tracks. They are not displayed on the PC or on iPhone

I have not added any songs or albums to "Your music" so those lists are and I can't find anything reason why just these 20 artists are displayed. I tried to install the new app on a device which have never had any previous Spotify install, same issue!

Version 0.7.9.1170

Tested on Xperia Z, 4.2.2, Galaxy S4 4.4.2, iPhone 5 IOS7.1

This confused me for a while too, but as far as I can work out the "Artist" tab includes all artists I follow, even if they have no tracks in my collection.

nope, thats not true. On the android it is different to on iphone and online. You would be right if using the desktop or iphone version but for android as per my screenshots, it shows artists from all playlists from what i can make out. when i looked down the list there were artists i definately dont follow.

if you look at my andorid shots, 'birds of tokyo', Bloc Party and British Sea power are missing from the screenshot below... why is it so mismatched? they should do the same thing, as it is i fin the android app's method very helpful, so could this not be impemented on all devices or better still allow us to set this in the settings?
