[AAOS] Spotify for Android Automotive brought in line with other versions of the app

My Question or Issue

This Version of the app needs some major attention. Not everything loads or appears. Artists albums are missing when looking up an artist, Portions of playlists aren't there. No hyperlinks anywhere so when driving you need to do some serious searching for things. No lossless audio in a setting that often has premium speakers. Last update added weird white triangles around the artwork. Who's paying attention to this version of the app? Spotify help didn't even think the app I was running was compatible with the car, yet it comes from the play store!!  Paying premium here for a product that is far from. Requests have been made for years to fix this version of the app. Please, can you please address the flaws of this app as a priority.

Please bring the Android Automotive App up to par with the phone versions. We need lossless in our cars, and an app that matches the premium subscription we pay for.

@Jamieh75, your original post addresses a couple of different issues so we'd like to go over them separately in order to clear things up a bit and share some info we have:

• You mentioned that a lot of content isn't loading or appearing properly and that sounds a lot like this current Ongoing Issue we have about playlists not loading on car infotainment systems. We can confirm that this is being looked into and you can subscribe to that thread to get updates on the topic.
• When it comes to Lossless in cars, it's not an option at the moment, but there's a Live Idea, which you can vote for to show your support. @HRading, thanks for your input about this as well!
• As for the issue with the white corners on albums - it was originally reported in this thread and is under investigation, so keep an eye out on that one as well.

Wow a response. I've had my car for 3 years and these problems have been there since day 1, except for the white corners which is a new feature you added. I'm not holding my breathe for a fix any time soon. I'm also not taking part  in your popularity contest to get issues fixed, just fix them!
