[ANDROID] App tells me I am offline, what do I do?

Hi everyone, I just closed my Spotify app, but just as I was going to open it again, I was told to log in again.  When I clicked the log in button after I had input all my information, the app told me I was offline and that I had to be online to log in.  I had Wi-Fi Connection and 4g Connection.  I have tried rebooting my device, but hesitated to uninstall the app and reinstall it since I have more than 8Gb of songs downloaded in it.  I am also able to log in to the Desktop version and to the website.  Is there a better way to do this?  Thanks in advance!
