Album Art & Images Not Displaying

I have a HTC One M7 running Android 5.0.2. When I am using my 4G mobile network, images and album art do not load. On Wifi it works fine. Any suggestions to fix this?

Actually I am experiencing the same problem on T-Mobile Netherlands. This used to work but now seems broken again. And indeed on wifi it's fine, on 4G/offline mode the covers don't show up. Weird!

Galaxy S7 (and Xperia Z5 Compact, same bug), T-Mobile Netherlands, latest version of Spotify, Android 6.0.1.
