Android Auto - sort and filter Playlists -sort titel

Solved!

Android Auto - sort and filter Playlists -sort titel

Dear Support. I'mean using Android Auto and Spotify. Where are all the features? How to filter on offline Playlists and sort options. As well the function to sort titels is not available. The usability is that bad if you have a lot of Playlists but you can not order. Any ideas?
Thanks

Ok. I managed the issue by myself already. I don't need assistance any longer.

Am I not able to update my own articles? Crazy! Ok. First sentence means: I'm using Android Auto.

Wait how did you do it?

Hi,

I encountered the same problem, however there's a workaround:

Do no connect the cable to establish the Android Auto connection yet.

First of all make sure the shuffle and/or repeat function is disabled in both the Spotify app on the phone and on Android Auto itself.

Then sort your playlist as you wish, e.g. recent to old. Then start the first song in that playlist, so it starts playing on your phone. While playing, connect your cable to establish the Android Auto session.

Now you'll notice the music stops playing, however you can resume the same song on the car interface.

If you press next it'll take the next song in the playlist according to your sort order.

Try it, it worked for me 😉

This defo needs adding to the app. You can't scroll down on Audo Android Auto because it only lists 20 or so tracks - rate enoughing.
