App keeps crashing on Galaxy S8

My Question or Issue

Spotify keeps crashing and the lock screen function no longer works.  I have logged out.  Restated my phone and finally done a reinstall.  All to no avail.  Please fix.  Life's too short and Google Music is just one click away.

Note8 here.

While changing songs Spotify would hang onto the last song and continue playing it, while the text and album cover changes. Even if I close the app the last song would STILL continue playing until Spotify finally just crashes.

I KNOW it's not my phone since its a samsung note8 and i factory reset my phone often enough that its aburd that Spotify still has craching/hanging issues.

PLEASE DO A CHANGELOG.
