Can't download/synchronize downloaded playlists from pc to samsung s4 with usb-cable

Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to download/synchronize downloaded playlists from pc to samsung s4 with usb-cable.

Problem is that the s4 isn't added as device on the left side of the spotify app.

There is no WLAN, thats the reason why I want to synchronize from pc to samsung with usb-cable.

Hope someone can help.

Are you sure the USB cable is still in working condition? It may seem like a silly question, but you wouldn't realize the number of time I freaked out thinking I broke my computer and then suddenly realized I had accidentally unplugged it. 

If it is working, then unfortunately the news is that I couldn't find any specific instances of this occuring, so I recomend following the troubleshooting steps in this thread (part B). If you go through all of that and it still doesn't work, I can poke around some more. That said, @Daniel is the resident Android Authority, and will probably be of more use than me.

Unfortunately the only device which allows syncing from USB are some apple devices without WiFi.

Unfortunately without WiFi you will not be able to sync your local files.

Thanks, that could be the reason why. I will try to do the same with an iPhone and test it.

I seem to recall it is only an iPod Touch that can be synced via USB... that may no longer be the case anymore though and it may be that only WiFi is supported for all devices nnow
