Can't move tracks to SD card

For some reason I can't move my downloaded tracks to the SD card. I used to have the downloaded tracks on this card, but after I dropped the phone and the screen crashed, the person at the shop where I had the phone fixed removed the card without switching the phone off and unmounting the card, as the screen was unresponsive. The app recognizes the card and I've still got the "Android/data/com.spotify.music" folder on it, but the process of transferring is never completed - it goes on for some time and stops at the end displaying a message saying something along the lines of "Unable to move data. There might be a problem with the SD card. Check permissions and try again." I've tried multiple times with no luck.

One more piece of info: the app has permission to read and write data on the card.
