Cannot play music on the car

My Question or Issue

Ever since getting my new phone I can only play downloaded Spotify songs while driving in my car. However, when at home & I turn off WiFi & use data, I can play all of Spotify fine. I've checked settings in Spotify & phone settings for connection & I've cleared my cache. Nothing has worked. Please help as I play Spotify in the car more than anywhere else.

I too have been experiencing this with Android Auto.  When I check my phone, Spotify says that it's "offline".  This is when my phone has excellent LTE reception and all of the other apps on the phone are connecting to the internet just fine, so it's just Spotify not connecting properly.
