Cannot use the Search feature or view albums

My Question or Issue

I have exactly the same problem as reported by Krycer/Casual Listener/2019-03-14 06:07 AM for which no solution was reached. When clicking on view album, I get: "Sorry, something went wrong. That didn't work. Please have another go." When searching on an artist, I get: "Something went wrong. Check your internet connection and try again". I have tried clearing cache and data, uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify, but it did not help. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection.

same problem here (premium/Austria/Fairphone 3/Android)!

I can only listen to playlists although I didn't download any songs. tried reinstalling and stuff but nothing works.. has been going on for weeks, really annoying! any tips?
